Obtain an Instrument
Option 1
Rent-to-Own
(Preferred method)
The most common way instruments are obtained is by participating in the rent-to-own program through a local business. H&H Music Company works hand in hand with directors at West Lake Middle School to ensure a quality instrument and a seamless process.
Most parents choose this route and are happy with their decision.

Option 2
Full Purchase
If you want to purchase an instrument for your child on your own, please keep in mind that we request certain brands/models that will stand up to the beginner and middle school life.

Option 3
District Owned Instrument Rental Fees
If your child is using an instrument that is owned and maintained by Humble ISD, they will need to pay their annual maintenance/cleaning fee. This does not apply to instruments that are rented or purchased through third-party companies.
This typically applies to the following instruments: oboe, bassoon, French horn, euphonium, and tuba.
