The First Note
The West Lake Band made its debut in 2018, setting the standard by achieving Sweepstakes at UIL and earning Best in Class in several festivals in year one. Our mission is to build a culture and tradition of excellence by providing every student the highest quality music education.

Our directors have plenty of experience making band a successful and rewarding atmosphere for your child. We are dedicated to teaching your child the value of commitment and discipline. Band should be an enjoyable experience for everyone!
The Future Sounds Good
The West Lake Middle School Band has big plans. As we build and grow our program, we aim to give kids the best opportunities available while providing a life changing experience and cultivating strong personal relationships between all members of the band. The West Lake Band is more than a class, it is a family.
Our Bands
We boast five levels of band, starting with beginner band, where students learn the basics of how to play an instrument for the first time, all the way through our Varsity level where students play very advanced levels of music.
